This Weekend's Golf

Saturday is the closing day Hamper and the Frank Murdoch Memorial Trophy ( Play off of the Monthly Medal Winners form the year ).
Sunday is a mixed greensome starting at Noon. This is a social game open to everyone regardless of whether you have a handicap or not. Players are asked to bring a plate of food to share afterwards.

XMAS Hamper Donations

Raffle tickets are on sale in the shop for our Xmas Hamper but we need you all to donate non perishable items to fill the hampers. Please drop any donated goods off to the shop by Thursday so the ladies can make up the hampers for the weekend.

New Local Rule
Drainage Ditch # 10 Fairway ( Amended )

The Match Committee have ruled that the drainage ditch on # 10 Fairway is now an immovable obstruction and not a hazard. This only applies to the drainage ditch on #10 Fairway ( from the cart bridge between the 9th & 10th to the end of the ditch on the right hand side of #10 ) not the ditch running across the 9th.

You are allowed free relief from the ditch if your ball is in, or on the concrete or if your stance is in, or on the concrete. To take a free drop you must determine the nearest point of relief ( must be complete relief, you cannot take a drop and then still be standing on or in the ditch ) no closer to the hole. You then may drop your ball within 1 club length.

Mens Club Champs

Registrations for the Mens Club Champs are now open. Anyone who would like to play in the Club champs please put your name down on the sheet posted in the changing rooms. The closing date for entry will be on the Mens closing day Saturday 14th December. The draw will be posted the following week. The aim is to have all the matches played in the first few months of the New Year and the final will be held on the same day as the Ladies Club Champs.
